Illustration
I’ve built up my skills in drawing and illustration for over 15 years. What started off as a hobby has also allowed me to explore freelance opportunities as well as an avenue through which to explore social media outside of client work.
Illustration pushes me to be a more effective designer, art director and creative thinker.
My main focus in illustration is in producing digital paintings. These paintings are made primarily in Photoshop using a Wacom Intuos tablet. They’re a combination of client work, fanart and personal projects. I specialize in drawing characters with bright colour pallets.
DIGITAL PAINTING
I’ve been working on a long-term project since 2018 in helping the author Leah Dougherty in expanding the lore for her original novel series, Magic of Dawn. As a part of this project, I’ve made concept art for the mythical creatures, Nehebures, that exist within the lore.
CONCEPT ART
Outside of stylized character art, I dabble in environments, creatures and a more realistic style. While I’ve mostly stuck to my niche, with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of art, I can apply my skills to all sorts of subjects.
EXPLORATION
Inktober is a yearly art challenge that takes place in October. Since its inception, every year it gains more and more momentum. The challenge is to make an ink illustration for every day in October. Here, you can observe the pieces I made for a previous Inktober.
