About CIAP

The Canada-India Acceleration Program is a Carleton University initiative under the Canada-India Centre for Excellence. It is designed to help female entrepreneurs break into new markets, make impactful connections, learn valuable skills and spur venture growth. The CIAP strives to position Canadian start-ups in emerging markets, such as India, creating more expertise and growth opportunities.

Mission

Women leaders provide invaluable benefits to companies, employees and industries. India is one of the fastest-growing markets in the world. By facilitating female leaders’ expansions to India, both diversity initiatives and the economy (Indian and Canadian) stand to benefit.

Starting at CIAP in July 2020 as a Marketing Administrator focusing on Design and Engagement, I was the key point of contact for all branding and graphic assets. From December 2020 to July 2022, I was the Marketing and Communications lead. My tasks included overseeing external communications on all platforms, owning the website and coordinating all marketing efforts including managing contractors and a marketing administrator.

 2021 Cohort 4 Recruitment

From July 2021 to December 2021, CIAP was accepting applications for the 4th cohort of the program. During this time, I produced a campaign spanning various channels.
